For our second pilot program, we’ll be visiting Chanute Elementary in Kansas. The Chanute Tribune featured a story on our initial forays into developing great relationships with local educators. Our pilots are a great way to both introduce teachers to the ways Abii can support them in the classroom, and to gather feedback from students and parents on how Abii performs. This type of feedback from the educational community will be critical in the development of our smart robot tutors, and we would love to include you! To bring Abii to your school please fill out the form here.
Here is a little about Chanute Elementary from their website:
“Located in the heart of southeast Kansas is USD 413-Chanute, a district whose teachers, administrators, support staff, bus drivers and school board members embrace the philosophy that your students’ needs come first. Thanks to a local and business community that cares about and supports education, students are educated in new and updated facilities with classrooms equipped with the technological tools to educate a 21st century work force. The district’s 1800-plus students attend our 4A high school, middle school for grades 6-8 and elementary school for grades K-5. Lincoln Early Learning Center houses classes for preschool and special needs preschoolers. Another building holds the New Beginnings Academy and its computer-based alternative program for high school students and the Chanute Virtual Education Center, for those interested in earning a high school diploma online.”
